Breed Standards

BREED STANDARDS

Stock breeds on any mod are welcome though we expect registration to be comprised mostly of Appaloosas, Quarter Horses, and Paint horses. As Petz horses are rather limited in conformation variances, we will determine their studbook eligibility based on color and markings. Details may be found below.

APPALOOSA

All horses that exhibit leopard, snowflake, blanket, snowcap, or varnish roan markings alone or in combination are registered in the Appaloosa studbook. All colors are acceptable.

PAINT

All horses that exhibit tobiano, overo, tovero, splash, and/or sabino pinto patterns are registered in the Paint Horse studbook. All colors are acceptable.

QUARTER HORSE

All solid color stock horses are registered in the Quarter Horse studbook. QHs may have white markings on the face and/or legs, as well as birdcatcher or Bend-Or spots, badger face, or bloodmarkings. They may carry genes for pinto/appaloosa but the genes must not be visibly expressed. All solid colors are accepted.
